About Me
I have one great political idea… That idea is an old one. It is widely and generally assented to; nevertheless, it is very generally trampled upon and disregarded. The best expression of it, I have found in the Bible. It is in substance, “Righteousness exalteth a nation – sin is a reproach to any people.” This constitutes my politics, the negative and positive of my politics, and the whole of my politics… I feel it my duty to do all in my power to infuse this idea into the public mind, that it may speedily be recognized and practiced upon by our people.

Chaplain Ayesha Kreutz is a faith-grounded civic leader, community builder, and servant advocate devoted to strengthening families, restoring hope, and equipping individuals to live lives marked by responsibility, purpose, and freedom. Known for her disciplined integrity, thoughtful leadership, and long-range vision, she approaches public service as a steward rather than a self-promoter, prioritizing durable impact, ethical engagement, and the well-being of communities.
Grateful for the guidance of respected faith and civic mentors including Maxine Buchanan, Jerry and Terry Crawford, Dr. Timothy F. Johnson, Rev. Dean Nelson, Rev. Jim Harden, and Dr. Alveda King, Ayesha’s life and leadership are shaped by both spiritual formation and lived experience. Raised in a secular and politically radical environment, she came to faith through profound life hardships and now serves as a missionary in America — ministering in neighborhoods, institutions, and communities seeking restoration, direction, and hope.
Ayesha is a graduate of the International Academy of Design and Technology and has served in diverse roles including counselor, teacher, small-business owner, minister, author, and community advocate. She currently serves as Executive Director of Am I Not a Child and is a founding member of organizations including the Frederick Douglass Foundation, Coalition to Protect Kids NY, Frederick Douglass Freedom Alliance, and Douglass Leadership Institute. Her work has included grassroots mobilization, community development initiatives, civic education, and legislative advocacy at local, state, and national levels.
Her personal testimony of hardship, abuse, abortion, and redemption informs her compassionate yet courageous ministry to individuals, leaders, and first responders. She works to help people move from crisis to stability, from despair to hope, and from dependency to purpose, while encouraging civic responsibility and community engagement.
Inspired by Scripture and the legacy of Frederick Douglass, Ayesha believes righteousness, justice, liberty and virtue. Lasting change begins in the heart before it shapes a culture. She is committed to protecting preborn children, strengthening families, fostering a love of learning, promoting constitutional principles, embracing shared history, and equipping citizens to participate effectively in their communities.
As a frequent speaker and contributor, Ayesha has appeared on national and local media platforms, spoken at women’s groups, churches, dinners and contributed to published works alongside Dr. Alveda King. Whether sharing a meal, offering prayer, teaching, or walking alongside someone in need, her calling remains the same: to help others discover dignity, healing, and the freedom found in truth.
She and her husband, Matthew, homeschooled their three children while building a life of ministry, mentorship, and public service.
Even without media, Ayesha’s godly whisper comes through mega-sized speakers with the amplifier cranked all the way to ELEVEN.

Drawing from the enduring tradition of the liberal arts, we equip individuals to think critically, speak truth with courage, and serve faithfully across every sphere of life.
Through transformative education, community events, and hands-on outreach, we foster whole-person development—empowering citizens, clergy, and public leaders to pursue justice, champion life, rebuild families, and cultivate generational change grounded in truth and grace.

Our work is rooted in the classical liberal arts—focusing on reading, logic, critical thinking, and rhetoric—while integrating the Great Books, the arts, and Socratic dialogue to develop virtuous, well-rounded leaders.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21)
We live in a land of liberty where natural rights of individuals precede and supersede the power of the state.
We are a constitutional republic in which government power is limited and employed for the purpose of providing legitimate public goods rather than for the benefit of insiders and narrow interest groups.
We believe in the free market in which persons, individually or collectively, have the natural right to sell goods and services to willing buyers, and in which the individual pursuit of economic opportunity benefits all.
We are a free society where citizens solve social problems not only through government but also by working together in families, neighborhoods, churches, charities, and other private, voluntary organizations.
